Brushland Eating House Wedding w/ Maggie & Obi

Early into the evening during this beautiful upstate New York wedding, Obi turned to me, clasped my shoulder, and said, “There are not 30 guests at this wedding—there are 31.” While I had known his wife, Maggie, for the better part of 8 years, I had only met Obi hours prior, a total stranger by all accounts. Despite that, he sincerely welcomed me into his wedding day and made it clear that I was much a guest as everyone else there.

That attitude was reflected in every choice that Maggie & Obi made for their wedding day. It truly meant the world to be brought in with open arms by the two of them, and their family and friends alike. They hosted the most wonderful, intimate wedding at @brushlandeating and focused entirely on bringing their people together around the table to break bread and be in community with one another. It was an honor to document the love and wonder that was woven into the fabric of this day.
