New York City w/ Eric Floberg

Eric: “Hey, I know this is last minute, but I have a project in New York City this weekend that I could use some help for. No pressure at all, just let me know if you’re in and we’ll make it happen.”

*a beat*

Me: “Yeah, I’m for sure in.”

This quick, productive conversation took place after dinner on a Thursday night, three short days before this project would begin. Eric and his wife Sabriah invited me and my fiancé Lora over for dinner, where we enjoyed a proper Mexican feast. Sweet potato tacos, homemade guac and chips, and margaritas; what’s not to like?

In the next 48 hours, I would fly from Chicago to Boston, drive 30 minutes north to my home, sleep briefly, then turn around and drive 6 hours down to NYC where Eric and I would spend 36 hours working on a project for the sweetest couple in the world. It was a whirlwind, but an unbelievable honor to help out.

Below are the behind-the-scenes photos that I took while we were there. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll check out Eric’s work. Check out his completed film on Vimeo, too!
